  3.         OZNET REGISTRATION PROCEDURE                             March 6, 1989

  6.         1.     A totally NEW  registration procedure is  now in place for  ALL
  7.                OZNET software.   OZNET  is a  loose collection  of independent
  8.                companion program writers within the Sydney (Australia) GT Net.
  9.                If  you have already registered prior  to this procedure taking
  10.                effect,  I'm sorry, but you'll have to register again.  To make
  11.                it easier, a netmail message will be more than adequate.

  13.         2.     Regardless of  the  source of  the software  concerned  all
  14.                OZNET  registrations   are  made   through   a  central   ONZET
  15.                registration administrator.   See the document included  in the
  16.                OZINST10.ZIP file for details about how this is done.

  18.         3.     Without this registration, some software  will not be affected,
  19.                some will operate  in "test  mode" only, some  will operate  in
  20.                only a restricted way, and some will simply not operate at all.
  21.                Although  individual programs  have been affected  in different
  22.                ways, no complete  package has been  disabled.  Please look  at
  23.                the individual documents to determine how the program which you
  24.                are using will work.

  26.         4.     IMPORTANT NOTE:

  29.                Although registration is  now centralised,  this does not  mean
  30.                that  all OZNET software  comes from that source.   If you have
  31.                questions about  registration,  then the  administrator is  the
  32.                person  to talk  to.   If however, your  question is  about the
  33.                program you  are registering, then  PLEASE REFER DIRECT  TO THE
  34.                AUTHOR CONCERNED.

  36.         5.     INSTALLATION:
  37.                ============

  39.                An  installation  program  is  provided,  although  it  is  not
  40.                included  in this package.   The OZINSTAL  program will install
  41.                all present and  future releases  of all OZNET  software.   You
  42.                should  look  for  the  file  OZINST10.ZIP which  contains  the
  43.                generic OZNET software installer and  a document which explains
  44.                the simple procedure required.

  46.         6.     There remains NO  charge for any OZNET  software! Registration,
  47.                however, is now essential for complete operation.

  50.         Q.     How do I go about installing this software?
  51.                ------------------------------------------

  53.         A.     You simply  sent to  the OZNET  registration administrator  the
  54.                EXACT name under which you wish to register (usually this would
  55.                be the  name of your board), and the  name of the program which
  56.                you wish to  register.  A matching  CRC will then be  generated
  57.                for you.   Give this  EXACT name  (case IS  important) and  the
  58.                matching CRC code  to OZINSTAL and you will  be able to install
  59.                the program.  A different CRC is required for each program, but
  60.                the install program is common, and the install procedure is the
  61.                same for all OZNET programs.
